Eastbourne Half Marathon

Reid & Dean are proud to again be sponsors of the Eastbourne Half Marathon, which this year is supporting the Rotary Club of Eastbourne’s Centenary project ‘Homes for Homeless’. You will be able to select to run for this charity through the entry form and you can find out more about them under the ‘want to run for charity’ section on the Eastbourne Half Marathon website.
Taking place on Sunday 6 March, the event is now in its seventeenth year and is planned to be even bigger and better as we emerge from the COVID pandemic.
The Eastbourne Half is very much a community event and is most definitely aimed at runners of all abilities. We are just as excited at seeing the last person finish as we are the first; so why not set yourself the challenge for 2022. Get out your running shoes and get training.
Also new for this year we have more bands and entertainment along the route offering encouragement along the route and we will have ‘pacers’ to help you achieve your set goal or PB.
The ethos behind the Eastbourne Half Marathon is to raise money for charities and local good causes. Over the years over £130,000 has been given directly to charity and much, much more has been raised for entrants’ own personal charities.
